Inside Oil Change Cleanser

(Serves 2) This Recipe is really the Ultimate Liver Cleanse

  • 2 lg grapefruits
  • 4 lemons
  • 300ml of distilled or filtered water
  • 2 tbl of cold pressed or open a flax oil pill
  • 1 tsp of acidophilus or all flora
  • 1-2 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 2 inches of fresh ginger root
  • opt. dash of cayenne pepper
Directions :
Squeeze the juice of the grapefruit and lemon into a blender, grate the garlic and the ginger, and then using a garlic press , squeeze this into the juice. Now add water, flax oil and acidophilus powder and blend for 30 seconds

This is everything you need to clean your liver. Also please note that it has been considered a hangover cure!

Runner's Yoga 10 minute stretch


Since running pounds the back body, what postural antidotes to this repetitive pounding can be it's counterpoint: forward bending and ahhh relieve that low back! The following 2 poses will aleviate the pressure and give you a nice counter stretch. Flow with these 2 at the very least, more to come!

Rest in childs pose: Balasana , for 5-10 breaths
Sit back on your heels and extend your arms in front laying your chest on the tops of your thighs forehead rests on the floor/ mat

Spring into downward facing dog: Adho Makha Svanasana (refer to photo) for 5- 10 breaths of full inhales and exhales come to all fours lifting the sit bones hinging at the waist, heels go towards the floor pushing the mat away from you with the hands, fingers spread wide, create full length in your spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head

Flow into this sequence of child's pose exhale from down dog then at the end of breath 5 flow back to childs pose . Going from child's pose to downward facing dog pose. Roll back onto your back squeeze in your knees to your chest and baby rock side to side.

Fall Roast

Get out your biggest roasting pan and put in some fall colors and chow

If you have 2 or more to feed this will feed you for 1-2 days

If you have 1 to feed you are set with fresh veggies for 3 days!

2 fresh in season apples ( honey crisp, braeburn, gala, fuji)
1 pkg frozen corn
1 pkg fresh Brussel sprouts
1 head of fresh broccoli
1 pre cut pkg butternut of acorn squash
3 cut sweet potatoes
2 leeks cut in rings
1 lemon for squeezing after roast

Drizzle olive oil generous portion over all veggies in a roasting pan , coarse salt and pepper and seal it with a honey drizzle , bake 400 for 40 mins turning pan 1/2 way
Remove from oven and squeeze an entire lemon over veggies and CHOW!

Hemp Plant Protein

Oh - I love smoothies, let me count thee ways.... hemp milk, almond milk, oat milk, soy milk.....

If you haven't tried Plant Protein in your smoothie, go pick some up and give it a scoop:

Hemp milk, or soy or almond milk * 1 cup
1/2 cup of strawberries or any frozen berries
1 Banana
1/4 cup of almond butter
1 very large scoop of Life Basics Plant Protein (pea, hemp, rice with chia seed)

Favorite Juice Recipe

From Natalia Rose's Book , Raw Food Life Force Energy

2 Cucumbers with skins
2 Apples Green or Honey Crisp (this time of year)
1 lemon with rind
1" of ginger root
4-6 stems of Kale
1 med beet -(red or gold) gold is sweeter

Wash all fresh organic recommended ingredients chop into quarters and begin feeding your powerful juicers....
Makes 3-4 cups
Prepare yourself for Energy, drink, enjoy (remember to "chew your juice" to activate digestive enzymes
